Hi! I’m Stephanie, the creator of La Vie Indie. This is my creative space where my love for couture design meets the deeper threads of history, heritage, and self-expression. As a self-taught designer, I draw inspiration from my ancestral roots and a lifelong fascination with textiles.

In a world flooded with throwaway fashion, La Vie Indie is all about embracing quality and intention. I work with fabrics I love, like linens, brocades, jacquards, and knits from natural fibers, to design pieces that feel personal and sophisticated, like each and every one of you.

Through my Outfit of the Day (OOTD) posts and curated Lookbook, I invite you to discover your uniqueness through couture design and find inspiration for a wardrobe that feels meaningful and beautiful to you!

I also have a little gem tucked away here I call Velvet Linen. She’s my editorial page. It’s where I write about the politics of fashion, the layers of identity, spotlight indie designers, and the quiet power of choosing your own way in a world that often tells us who to be. It’s personal, it’s political, and it’s the undercurrent that shapes everything I create.
